Alondra Velazquez I am the oldest of three and a first generation college student to be. I grew up and have lived in Little Village my whole life and attended Little Village Academy during my elementary and middle school years, some of the best years of my life. From there my participation in programs like High Jump helped quench my ambition to seek higher education opportunities and challenge myself. Besides academics I like volunteering at places like Brookfield Zoo and Forest Preserves where I get to be up close to wildlife, and love engaging in my hobbies like drawing and playing guitar/bass.
